Biography

Guided by intuition, Andreas Ackerup explores elements of chance and happenstance in his photography. His exploratory method results in vivid, unpretentious images full of life and energy.

His is a "snapshot aesthetic", combined with a keen eye for composition. Rather than working with a preconceived notion of the end result, he looks for those fragments of time where everything suddenly falls into place.

Whether working in the artistic realm or shooting for commercials, he has a rare way of capturing moments of beauty and wonder within the constant stream of time.
